The 7 Year Itch

The 7 year itch is a 1955 American comedy film, it is here that we were introduced to one of the most iconic images of the 20th century - Marilyn Monroe as she stands over the Subway grate as her famous white dress blew above her knees as a passing train went buy.

There has been many infamous images that I have come across that have humorously been used to portray the character of Marilyn Monroe, I like these images as they have been created with their own edge on the original iconic image;

I have noticed after looking at these images that no matter what form the image is, photograph or graphic, the images are instantly recognisable as Monroes famous image just by one or two of the original features ie. the beauty spot on her top lip.
