Iconic Imagery Ideas.

Andy Warhol- Marilyn Monroe.

Everybody has seen this image of Marilyn Monroe created by Andy Warhol and i would argue that Marilyn still inspires many people even to this day. The iconic blonde hair and black beauty spot are still recognized and the first thing that comes in mind is Marilyn.

This album cover was created for Madonnas Greatest hits album.

In this photograph you can really link the colours to the Andy Warhol image of Marilyn.

In this image you don't just link the colours to the Andy Warhol image, with the model showing her teeth you certainly capture the sense of personality Marilyn Monroe had in front of the camera.

                                                   Photographer:- Cecil Beaton

Photographer Cecil Beaton is one of the few photographers that was recognized for doing photoshoots with Marilyn, he did shoots for magazines such as "VOUGE" with Marilyn. Cecil Beaton did a really good job of capturing Marilyn's inner beauty. She wasn't just a pin up girl for Playboy but a style icon of that generation who stole the hearts of millions, and because of that people are still trying to recreate Marilyn Monroe.

Scarlett Johansson Says She’s No Marilyn Monroe
        Scarlett Johansson quotes:
“We really weren’t trying to recreate any particular image. It was just their idea of the iconic blonde, and naturally people think that’s Marilyn Monroe.”Having said that, I love Marilyn. I think she was incredibly beautiful and a very underrated actress. I am a curvy woman who is blonde, and perhaps we are both comfortable in our femininity, but I think that is as far as the comparison goes.”

Finding this quote i think just backs up my view of Marilyn Monroe still being repeated and the hair being so recognizable and instantly being linked back to Marilyn Monroe.
