The Flapper Girl

DURING THE 1910S YOUNG GIRLS WORE BIG BOWS ON THEIR HAIR THAT FELL ONTO THE HEAD, AND SO THEY BECAME KNOWN AS "FLAPPERS". THE NAME WOULD STICK WITH THIS GENERATION, AS THEY GREW UP IN THE 1920S.

I think it is IMportant to not forget about the flapper girl trend, as my research shows that Minnie mouse was originally designed in the style of a flapper girl.

When researching flapper girl trends i came across a shoot featuring Eva longoria for April 2009's harper bazaar. the shoot brings a fresh new look to the flapper girl and suggests how the trend can be brought back in to fashion in this day an age;
